The Foundation of Hope Giving Community recognizes those individuals, foundations, and businesses who generously support our vital mission and vision with non-event gifts of $250 or more throughout the year. We believe research is hope – and your gifts make hope happen.
You belong in this community – all are welcome.
Thanks to our supporters, since its inception, the Foundation of Hope has awarded 197 scientific research grants totaling more than $9.4 million. These funds have leveraged an additional $254 million in other research grants from the National Institute of Mental Health and various federal and private agencies, an incredible 2,702% return on our research dollars.

Whether it’s one gift at a time, or a monthly recurring gift – every dollar matters, and every donor matters. All gifts, regardless of size, help us make positive changes for those with mental illnesses needing help in our community, our nation, and around the world.
Giving Community donors receive recognition (if desired) at their giving level on the Foundation of Hope website and, depending on level, in an annual mailing.

Recognition is based on the total amount given in a calendar year (January 1 – December 31). Donations made to the Foundation of Hope via the annual fund campaign, research campaigns, patron gifts, newsletter, tribute/memorial gifts, and other unsolicited gifts, qualify for inclusion towards annual giving levels. All event funding, including Evening of Hope and Walk for Hope giving, as well as in-kind donations and workplace matching gifts are excluded from the Giving Community.
